Body-in-White

On their own, or in conjunction with mechanical fasteners, structural adhesives are powerful, reliable solutions for bonding metal and related components in critical body-in-white applications. 3M augments our liquid structural adhesives with a selection of structural adhesive tapes for efficiency and expanded design flexibility.
Exteriors and Glass

3M™ Acrylic Foam Tapes are excellent for bonding automotive exterior components of nearly any material. Our structural bonding tapes are used for mirror buttons and sensor attachment to glass. And our primerless attachment tapes help increase production efficiency.
Human Machine Interface (HMI)

Attaching sensors for HMI is just one of the challenges we face in effective automotive design. Aesthetic appeal is another – if the sensor can’t be attached discreetly, it probably shouldn’t be attached. 3M responds with a range of optically clear adhesives, as well as sensor camouflage adhesive films for the perfect balance of form and function.
