Course Description
Understanding the importance of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) can be just as important as understanding the basics of fall protection. Now, for a limited time, we are offering a training class, in four different locations, to address the fundamentals of PPE.
Much like fall protection, PPE also has important technical requirements. Without fully understanding OSHA regulations and other aspects of PPE Program Management, employers may find yourself at the end of a penalty or fine.
This class is designed to provide an overview on several key considerations for PPE program management. Students will learn about issues relating to conducting workplace hazard assessments, and gain some pointers for properly selecting PPE. This class will provide a combination of hands-on, lecture, and real-life examples that will be able to be taken back to the job site and applied to the local PPE program.

In order to attend, you must register for the PPE Essentials class. These classes will follow the fall protection competent person class and can be added on at the time of registration, or taken separately.
A certificate of completion will be provided upon course completion.
